nova. is a platform that connects people looking for house cleaning services with high-level and pre-selected independent professionals.
Why I founded it
There 11 years ago, I started my life out of my parent's house, in the beginning, I cleaned my house by myself, but because of my work routine, I decided to hire a housecleaning one-day per week. I discovered that the process to find someone to hire is very hard and I decided to create a digital product to solve this problem and make easier all the process to find and hire people.
My professional background helped me a lot to deliver a consistent startup for the mar.

The first impression

After some drafts, some research and studies of flows, we found a great way to design the first page. nova. has two kinds of users, the consumer and the cuidador (is how nova. call the cleaners). At the first page, we made some adjustments to actions to the site's principal section, to help the user to find all they need in small steps.

To help and give a good user experience for all types of user, we created a separate site, addressing their concerns. The customers have a page with all the information and benefits to use nova and the cuidadores has all the information they need to do part of nova’s team.

We created two sections called; 'trust for customers' and 'trust for cuidadores'. In this page, we shared with the user about how they can trust their houses and their works to nova.

The idea was to create an intuitive flowchart, with few steps and easy to check out before and after the final design, we did some testing with some users before bringing the flow to life.
